Bass Classic 2019
The Hayden Grebert Memorial Bass Classic 2019 will be open for public registrations on the 1st December. Last events competitors will have from the 22nd November to register.
Hosted on the Mighty Clarence River, it is the No.1 Bass catch & release event in the Northern Rivers.
The Bass Classic is a weekend everyone can meet up each year and share the love of bass fishing, and have a laugh. Only the first 50 paid teams will be able to attend the event. 2 Anglers per boat. It is not a live weigh in, it will be your 5 overall biggest bass per team for the weekend and you will be given catch cards and a brag mat as well as key tags to have in the photo with the eligible bass. Camping is at the Copmanhurst Showgrounds (hot showers).
Everyone must attend the briefing on Friday 22nd March at 6:30pm at the Copmanhurst Showgrounds. Refer to rules and regulations page. Click the link below for full details on the 2019 Bass Classic.
There will be trophies with prizes and a plaque for the annual winners, all money will be put back into the event through Catering, Official Bass Classic fishing shirts, stubbie coolers and a Major Prize raffles which everyone will get given 1 ticket each when entering (more tickets can be purchased on the day).
We always aim to make this a fun event, eliminating all the tension which major prize money brings to events, so come and enjoy a top weekend fishing with mates, have a few cold beverages and claim the bragging rights to the 2019 Hayden Grebert Memorial Bass Classic!
Raffle tickets will be sold at the comp with some great prizes, this will then be drawn after the presentation on Sunday.
Entry fee: $260.00 per team ($130 per angler)
Entry fee includes:
- BBQ Friday night at the briefing.
- Early breakfast, tea & coffee Saturday/ Sunday morning at sign on.
- Subway lunch packs for Saturday.
- Saturday BBQ dinner.
- Lunch on Sunday with Presentation.
- Official 2019 Bass Classic Fishing Shirts and Stubby cooler.
- 1 ticket per person for the major raffle prize.
Fishing sessions are as follows:
- Saturday 23rd March: 5:30am – 2pm
- Sunday 24th March: 5:30am – 12pm
